stage & costume design 

The stage is representing a school building and is devided in two areas; the classroom and the backyard. Each area represents the two worlds of the play; the duke's court characterized by suppression is played in the classroom whereas the forest and therewith the feeling of freedom are placed in the backyard.  Accordingly the roles that belong to the court (classroom) are dressed in orlerly school uniforms while the forest people have an untidy rebellious look.
